Qualification

i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in Applied Mathematics or relevant subjects. ii) A Master‘s Degree in Applied Mathematics with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed). And, iii) A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of Seven publications in Scopus/Web of science indexed/SCI/ SCIE/ UGC-CARE listed journals and a minimum total research score of Seventy-five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix

Instructions

) The candidates are requested to go through the Recruitment Notification placed on the University Website www.andhrauniversity.edu.in.Read the instructions carefully and comply with them, before filling the details in the portal. b) Applicants are required to apply online (through Link: https://recruitments.universities.ap.gov.in The online link will be available till 20.11.2023 (by IST 5 pm). c) The candidate has to click on the link provided and complete the registration process first. The candidate will receive an OTP to the registered mobile number, which he/she need to fill in the registration form to complete the registration. If the registration ID and password are lost, there is a provision to retrieve the same in the log-in portal. d) Once the registration of the candidate is confirmed, the candidate has to log-in on the application portal using the credentials and fill in all the required information viz., educational qualifications, experience, academic/research details etc. and submit. e) The candidate has to take the printout of the successfully submitted online application and submit the same along with self-attested hard copies of certificates and other documents in support of the credentials claimed to the respective university(ies) selected by the candidate before the due date through registered post/courier/speed post. The application and supporting documents will not be accepted in person. Once the application is submitted, the request for a change of information or data will not be considered. f) The supporting documents shall be arranged sequentially in accordance with the serial numbers of the required information in the application form submitted online. In case two or more supporting documents are available against one serial number, the documents may Page 31 of 40 be numbered as 1.1., 1.2., 1.3., or 5.1., 5.2., 5.3., and the like. The candidates are required to prepare the contents with page numbers of the supporting documents and submit the same to the university(ies) within the stipulated time. g) Submission of hard copy of the application(s) along with supporting documents to the University(ies) is mandatory. Applicants are advised to submit the same well in advance, without waiting till the last date, to avoid postal delays or any other unforeseen problems. The University will not be responsible for any postal delay at any stage. h) Failure to submit the hard copy of the application(s) form and documents in time to the respective university(ies) will be treated as ineligible and the candidature will not be considered. i) The candidates should possess all prescribed eligible and essential qualifications by the date of notification issued.
