In this role, you will be expected to:

- Deep understanding of the role, i.e. vendor onboarding, invoice processing, 3 way match between PO, GRN and the invoice received, making payments to the vendor basis credit period

- Understanding of TDS / TCS provisions under the Income-tax Act and ensuring proper TDS / TCS deduction is done while making vendor payments;

- Understand documentation requirements of foreign payments and account / pay the same in line with the applicable laws;

- Planning and executing monthly closure activities;

- Analysis and providing schedules for B/S & P&L Items on a monthly basis for the month end closure;

- Providing the MIS Reports on ageing, and monthly expenses reports as per the management requirement;

- Streamline the accrual process for non-trade expenses;

- Review with team members on Provision vs Actualisation. Highlighting the same to respective stakeholders;

- Coordinating with statutory & internal auditors and ensuring timely completion of audits;

- Reviewing creditors and advance reports for management on a monthly basis;

- Ensuring timely payments to vendors as per the agreed credit period;

- Clean vendor master with proper bank details and email ID for sending the payment advice directly from ERP to the vendors;

- Ensure necessary entries are passed before MEC;

- Preparing monthly schedule in prescribed format

- Maintain /Corporate office/ Lease rent/Electricity/Operational expenses monthly schedule;

- Ensure trend analysis for recurring GLs;

- Circulating debit balance vendor list to respective department heads in order to follow up to get recover before MEC;

- Excel at cost center-wise accounting and be capable of publishing cost center P&L from time to time.

- Work with the GST team to find out and take action on defaulting vendors from the GST perspective and take appropriate actions against such vendors.
