On 20th of July 2023, official notification of AWES Online Screening Test 2023 has disclosed and invited online applications for APS Recruitment of TGT, PGT & PRT posts. Candidates must register an online application for APS OST 2023-24 by logging onto the Registration Portal – https://ost.awes.cbtexamportal.in/. APS OST Exam Apply Online process at the registration portal will be open for a limited days only. Eligible candidates who wish to apply for AWES TGT/ PGT/ PRT Teacher Vacancy must register from 21-07-2023 to 10-09-2023. Candidates are advised to submit their application early enough to avoid a last-minute rush.

The total number of APS Teacher Vacancies to be filled shall be announced in newspapers by the respective School’s Management after Online Screening Test. AWES APS Teacher Recruitment 2023: Summary

Eligibility Criteria for APS Teacher OST Exam 2023

Candidates applying for APS Online Screening Test must hold the required eligibility criteria to be eligible for TGT, PGT or PRT Vacancies. Army Public School Teacher Post-wise eligibility criteria are as follows:-

Age Limitation:-

• Fresh Candidates: Below 40 years (In the case of Delhi Schools, candidate should be in the age bracket as per DSEA&R.) as on 1st of April 2023.
• Experienced Candidates (Minimum 05 years experience in the appropriate category in the last 10 years): Below 57 years (In the case of Delhi, as per DSEA&R.) as on 1st April 2023.
  • For the PGT category, the candidate should have worked as PGT/ TGT for at least 05 years in the last 10 years.
  • Experience gained as PRT in the same period shall not be counted for appointment as PGT. Experience gained as PRT shall however be accepted for TGT post.

Educational & Professional Qualification:-

1. CTET or TET is not compulsory for appearing in Online Screening Test. However, CTET/ TET conducted by the Centre or State Government is compulsory for TGTs/ PRTs at the time of appointment in the REGULAR and FIXED TERM category.
2. A Post-Graduate with less than 50% aggregate marks in Graduation can also apply for TGT/ PRT Post provided the candidate has scored a minimum of 50% or more aggregate marks in Post-Graduation.

Army Public School (APS) Teacher Salary

About Scale of Pay: Candidates selected for teacher posts in APS will receive a basic salary as per 6th CPC rates. Allowances and perks will be decided by the management locally based on the merit of employees & financial health of the school.

APS PGT TGT PRT Selection Process 2023

About Selection Procedure: Final selection of aspirants for Army Public School Recruitment 2023 will be done through their performance in Stage I, II & III Exam as shown below in detail:-

• Stage 1 – Screening Test: The test shall be held Centrally and Online by an agency identified by HQ AWES centrally to ensure uniform quality of teachers in all Army Public Schools.
• Stage 2 – Interview: Candidates qualifying in the Screening Test will have to attend Interview. The interview may be held as per the discretion of local management.
• Stage 3 – Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Proficiency: For Language teachers, a written test comprising an essay and comprehension of 15 marks each would be held along with an evaluation of teaching skills. The Selection Committee may also hold computer proficiency tests if they so desire.
