Responsibilities:
1. Write captivating and persuasive product descriptions for e-commerce listing pages that
effectively highlight the features, benefits, and unique selling points of each product. Along
with Copywriting, also develop packaging of new/existing products,
2. Conduct thorough research to understand target audiences, competitive landscapes, and
industry trends in order to create a compelling and relevant copy
3. Collaborate closely with the creative team, including designers and photographers, to ensure
the copy aligns seamlessly with the accompanying listing images and visual elements
4. Develop engaging headlines, subheadings, and bullet points that grab attention and
encourage potential customers to explore further
5. Optimize product copy for search engine optimization (SEO) to improve organic search
rankings and drive traffic to the product listings
6. Craft persuasive A+ content that elevates the overall presentation of our product listings,
incorporating engaging multimedia elements such as images, infographics, and videos.
7. Work alongside different internal & external stakeholders/agencies to ensure a consistent
flow of communication on both copy and design fronts
8. To have a creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts for
brands
9. Proactively come up with ideas & concepts to strengthen the brand & its persona
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably within an e-commerce or digital marketing
environment
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt writing style to
different audiences and product categories
3. Strong understanding of persuasive writing techniques and the ability to create an engaging,
concise, and benefit-oriented copy
4. Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices to optimize product copy for search
engines
