Job Description
Strategic Planning:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team within the tech function, understanding their business goals and providing strategic HR insights and recommendations.
- Developing the HR agenda for your function, by integrating with the business leads and heads.
- Maintain awareness of the culture, plans, financial position, and competition of the business units under the HR purview
- Lead and facilitate organizational change initiatives, working closely with managers to identify opportunities for enhancing team performance and efficiency.
- Analysing trends and metrics for HR and share it with team and suggest action plan
Employee Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor for employees, addressing their concerns, and resolving conflicts in a fair and consistent manner. Promote positive employee relations and maintain a culture of open communication and collaboration.
- Integrate with central POC to ideate and execute employee surveys, FGDs, analysis and outcome measures
- Lead engagement activities, team exercises for your function along with central POC, ensuring maximum participation and engagement.
- Co-facilitate R&R for employees as per central policy.
- Empower leadership to handle any people matters in the organization
- Conduct weekly or bi-weekly meetings with business leaders and provide HR advice where necessary
- Work with central team to plan induction / onboarding for new joiners in your function.
- Lead function onboarding of new joiners stakeholder alignment, overview of the function, right knowledge transfer and right goal setting with managers.
Performance Management:
- Giving performance management guidance to line managers (for example mentoring, career planning, coaching, etc.)
- Devising and introducing right metrics and process for performance management with central team.
- Work with business and central teams to execute the performance life cycle. Co-create the framework, templates and lead the calibrations.
Career Development:
- Reskilling and upskilling: identify training needs and align training programs with business objectives, along with central team
- Succession planning: select and develop key talent to ensure there are talents to fill in critical roles
- Understand performance outcome for employees and create development ecosystem for them to boost performance.
- Monitor training programs to ensure that training objectives are met.
New HR Initiatives:
- Implement interventions on employee wellness, diversity and inclusion, or talent management
- Lead launch of new initiatives, project or benefits for your function
- Evaluates issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution and program designs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HR business partnering or HR leadership roles within the technology industry or startups.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to use HR data and metrics to drive insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
