Instructions
1. The Candidates who had applied earlier need to apply afresh, as old applications will not be considered. 2. Degrees obtained by the candidate should have been awarded by a recognized University/ Institute. All educational qualification certificates, including the Date of Ph.D. Defense must be submitted. All Experience Certificates mentioning designation, pay, and tenure must be duly signed and sealed by the employer, where relevant. 3. Applicants who are employed in Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous Body, or similar Institutions should send their applications through the proper channel. They will be required to produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of the interview. 4. Candidates must ensure before applying that they are eligible according to the criteria stipulated in the advertisement. If any candidate is found ineligible at any stage of the recruitment/appointment process or is found supplying false information, S/he will be disqualified, and her/his candidature/appointment will be cancelled. 5. The Institute reserves the right to call for interview only those candidates shortlisted based on their qualifications, experience, research & publication records, and the requirements and quality standards of the Institute. 6. The Institute reserves the right to fill or not fill any or all of the advertised posts as it may deem fit. The Institute has the right to set different as well as higher norms while shortlisting. Based on the shortlisting criteria, applications will be processed. The shortlisted applicants will be contacted through the emails provided by them in the application form. 7. Applicants called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro airfare by economy class or II AC rail fare from the nearest city of their residence in India by the shortest route. 8. Shortlisted applicants from abroad and not present in India may be interviewed through video conferencing, but no reimbursement can be made. Shortlisted applicants from abroad but present in India must attend the interview in the Institute's Campus. 9. The Selection Committee may recommend a higher initial basic pay to deserving candidate(s) with relevant experience and high-quality publications, subject to rules. 10. The applicants are required to upload all the supporting documents mandatorily to complete their application process. 11. Applications sent through email/FAX will not be considered. 12. Any Addendum/ Corrigendum/Extension of date/Clarification will be published only on the Institute website (www.igidr.ac.in). Hence, the candidates are advised to visit the Institute website for information/updates periodically. The date and time of the Presentation/Interview will be informed only through email. The Institute will not be responsible for the non-receipt of emails by the candidates. 13. Correspondence from applicants regarding the conduct and result of the interview and reasons for not being called for interview or selection will not be entertained. 14. The decision of the Institute in all matters of selection is final. 15. Any disputes arising under/in relation to this advertisement and/or an application in response thereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts/Tribunals at Mumbai, and any legal action or proceedings arising out of this advertisement and/or an application in response thereto shall be brought/instituted in the courts or tribunals or other appropriate forums at Mumbai alone.
