Job Description

Marketing Performance Optimization :

  • Develop, implement, and monitor marketing performance measurement frameworks and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, channels, and initiatives.
  • Analyze marketing data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization, and provide recommendations to enhance campaign performance and return on investment (ROI).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, Revenue Operations, and finance, to align performance objectives and establish targets for revenue growth, lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention.

Data Management and Analysis :

  • Utilize Power BL to extract, transform, and analyze marketing data from various sources (Salesforce, Marketo, 6sense, etc), ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
  • Create and maintain marketing dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide stakeholders with real-time insights into marketing performance and trends.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis of marketing campaigns, customer behavior, conversion funnels, and segmentation to uncover actionable insights and areas for improvement.
  • Identify data gaps, implement data enhancement strategies, and work with relevant teams to improve data quality and availability.

Process and Tool Optimization :

  • Drive continuous improvement in marketing operations processes, workflows, and data management practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Revenue Operations to continually improve and refine lead scoring, waterfall metrics, attribution, lead flow process, and ensure optimal flow through the lead lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with marketing technology teams to streamline data integration, automate reporting processes, and optimize the use of our tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in marketing analytics, data management, and marketing operations, and recommend innovative approaches to drive growth and performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration :

  • Partner with marketing teams to translate business goals and objectives into measurable marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales operations, inside sales, marketing, and other teams to align marketing and sales data, identify areas of synergy, and drive revenue optimization.
  • Communicate complex data insights and analysis effectively to stakeholders, including marketing leadership, to influence decision-making and support data-driven strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, business analytics, statistics, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing operations, data analysis, and performance optimization within a fast-paced and data-driven environment.
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing Power BL, Salesforce, multitouch attribution, ABM tools, for data analysis and reporting. Certification in these platforms is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of marketing concepts, metrics, and best practices, including demand generation, lead management, customer journey, and marketing automation.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using Excel, SQL, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex data insights to stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a passion for driving marketing performance through data-driven decision-making.
  • Must be agile and manage multiple ad-hoc requests and demands requiring the ability to quickly shift focus when necessary.
