Project:

• Partner with the Projects Team for preparation and validation of Project Budgets (including opex during projects phase)
• Preparation of Approval notes for the proposed Budgets
• Track the purchase orders issued against the approved items and seek approval
• Weekly / Monthly rolling forecasts against the proposed budgets and fresh budget requirements if any
• Participate in the negotiations of the Project items (Capex & Opex)
• Capitalisation of the assets as per the applicable accounting standards in SAP
• MIS reports on project progress against the pre-defined KPIs
• Partner with the cross functional teams on the proposed expansion of the project

Production Phase:

• Preparation of Annual operating plan and Monthly Business plan of the entire plant by partnering with all the cross functional teams at the plant and Corporate office (Production, Maintenance, HR, Quality, Sourcing etc)
• Preparation of the monthly P&L and Cash flow forecasts and analysis of the same vs the Budget/Monthly Plan
• Monthly MIS on the expenses of the plant with the lowest details
• Ensure the cost reduction targets / project timelines are met
• Ensure all the books of accounts are maintained as per the applicable accounting standards
• Monthly book closure and co-ordination with the Corporate Finance team for validation of P&L/Balance sheet at entity level
• Handle Statutory & Internal auditors on the relevant points
• Compliance with the relevant Central / State / Local taxation laws
• Management MIS on relevant areas as required

Costing & Inventory Control Finance:
Ensure the costing modules in SAP are accurately configured to arrive at the correct product cost
Co-pilot for preparation and ensure 100% implement of proper SOPs to have a healthy check on the inventory accounting, issues & scrapping processes

Qualifications, Experience:
Chartered Accountant
3 - 8 years experience in managing a similar role
