• We are looking for a Principal Engineer to join our technology team
• As a Principal Engineer, you ll work closely with our Design, Product, Data Science, and Analytics teams to develop microservices that focus on the financial needs of millennials in India
• If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you
• You would lead a high-performance engineering team to develop the next-generation financial platform application in payments

What You will do

• Design and develop microservices that can work in a large-scale multi-tenant environment.
• Responsible for end-to-end architecture, high-level design/low-level design of various systems and applications that you are assigned to. You will also be responsible for writing code and deploying these enterprise applications to production including operational excellence.
• Explore design implications and work towards appropriate balance between functionality, performance, and maintainability.
• Work with a cross-discipline team of Design, Product, Data Science, and Analytics team.
• Deploy and maintain the application in a secured AWS environment.
• Take ownership from the ideation phase to deployment and maintenance.
• Actively participate in the hiring process to bring world-class programmers in the team.
• Champion best design, development, and code quality practices in the engineering team
• Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing team.
• 10+ years of experience in software development a good understanding of modern programming languages and cloud environments
