Razorpay s SME partnerships team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with SME partners.
Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you will be on the front line of interacting with our most strategic partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Razorpay newest product offerings via their Customers usage.
Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help grow the partnerships business.
As a Sr. Associate for partnerships, you will foster and manage relationships with some of the most critical tech companies globally as well as in India.
You will own C-level relationships with key partners and grow them to their potential.
You will work on cutting edge payments products that deliver processing solutions for our merchants. You will also create large, consistent business growth streams for Razorpay by unlocking great value for merchants.
This is a sales based role with clear target based result orientation. The candidate will be expected to add value in MTU and GMV growth from the partnership portfolio, with an eye on increasing NR. Must attain or supersede monthly targets in the OKR s shared quarterly.
This position will be for a Farming/Account Manager Role in IC Capacity, with a focus on partnerships accounts Pan-India and Pan- Industry :
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Own multiple accounts (100+) end-to-end and focus on wallet share gain, cross-selling and upselling and work with partners to resolve any and all issues.
- Execute pre-defined business cadence with partners with emphasis on strong relationship-building.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the core products (Payment Gateway and other payments products such as PP, PL, etc.) and threshold understanding of new products (Payroll, LoC, Payouts, etc. ).
- Lead the discussions with given partners about the most relevant features/functionality for partners across product portfolio basis partner needs and use-case.
- Planning, execution and closure of product conversations for such identified opportunities.
- Enabling internal operational agility and efficient cross-team functioning, working closely with other teams such as Product, Engineering and Sales to ensure a great partner experience.
- Be the single point of contact for given partners and act as an escalation point to drive resolution in a timely, proactive manner.
- Should be able to engage with Partners via Online and Offline events.
- Must be able to run strategic campaigns with their set of partners from time to time as per team needs.
- Be completely conversant with the collaterals and suggest improvements, if any.
- Strictly adhere to communication procedures and guidelines, especially when interacting with external stakeholders.
- Stay updated with all happenings in the industry.
- Improved internal reporting by leveraging various tools (such as Salesforce, Looker).
- Actively participate in all team-building activities.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Graduate from Tier-1 undergraduate institutions such as DCE, NITs, SRCC, IP University, VIT, etc.
- 3+ years of Sales or Customer engagement is preferred.
- Experience in payments, fintech is preferred.
- Experience of handling a partnerships role/affiliate program is preferred.
- Should have experience in handling, managing and owning multiple partner/Merchant Accounts end to end with a high degree of focus on.
- Understanding the business and the value chain for the partners and their customers.
- Identifying all the products which may fit the aforesaid use-case.
- Cross-Selling, up-selling and Wallet Share gain in existing products.
- Should have worked with customers in managing customer requirements, delivering and deploying a software solution, technical issue resolution and escalation management at both the business owner and executive levels.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and technical aptitude
- Organised and reliable; able to work independently with direction available as per need.
- Hands-on and results-oriented person with strong problem-solving skills.
- Basics of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Basic understanding of Salesforce.
