About the Role

In this role, you will be part of the BYJUS (Business Unit BYJUS Tuition Centre), wherein you would be taking charge of the students post enrolment and provide all support and guidance to the students and parents. You will coordinate between three critical stakeholders students, teachers, and parents. This is a key role in providing excellent service and support to students & parents, directly impacting all business metrics.
 

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Provide all assistance and guidance to students to ensure they have an excellent learning experience
  • Provide all inputs and guidance to students and parents on student’s progress, strong areas, and areas of improvement
  • Share Monthly Test Reports with the students and parents
  • Conduct regular Parent Teacher Meetings between faculty and parents
  • Improve parent/teacher relationships.
  • Mediate conflict between students and teachers.
  • Assist Teachers in conducting assessment tests for students and evaluating the same
  • Assist students in scheduling one-to-one doubt clearing sessions with the teachers as per requirement
  • Counselling students and parents about our courses and competition exams landscape.
  • Interaction with students and parents on a regular basis for giving them BYJU’S experience.
  • Clarifying doubts of students and parents.
  • Regularly communicate class schedule and type to students to ensure smooth running of classes.
  • Improve student attendance across all batches and reduce refund requests.
  • Liaison with academic lead for smooth student teacher relationship.
  • Handling assigned administrative responsibilities.
  • Understand students’ problems related to sales, academic, technical, personal, etc and resolve them.
  • Help students process their problems and plan goals and action.
  • Organize peer counselling programs

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in counselling profile. Preferred experience in the educational sector.
  • Self-motivated & Self-driven to work.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and G Suite.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills with a positive attitude.
